| In an era when it seems every DJ shows up to gigs carrying something smaller than a kid’s lunchbox, Doorly is the exception to this rule. Using a set up that would make even Zabiela blush (3 CDJs, 2 1210s, EFX unit and Pioneer 800 to be precise), when he says he’s DJing live, he means it. Everything that you hear in is set his being created in the mix, there and then. With energy only comparable to Carl Coxs’ early 3 deck gigs in the rave era, Doorly’s movement behind the decks is relentless, armed with the finest accapellas, instrumentals, bootlegs, edits and re-rubs, he switches between musical genres with ease. Playing a mix of house, breaks, techno and electro, mixed in with ample doses of indie and hip hop, expect the unexpected as it’s all about the party with Doorly.
